“Be Wherever You Are” explores how perfectionism distorts our sense of identity. Each hanging album displays a human face—blurred, fragmented, and rearranged—reflecting the ways we alter ourselves to appear whole. The albums, suspended on hangers, become metaphors for the versions of ourselves we curate and present. Visitors are invited to listen to recordings of individuals reflecting on their own perfectionism, hearing the raw humanity beneath the visual distortion. The juxtaposition of warped imagery and unfiltered voice exposes the tension between how we want to be seen and how we truly feel. Through sound, sight, and suspension, the piece asks: what happens when we stop striving to become perfect and simply allow ourselves to be wherever we are?
