Building Self-Portraits
my main mode of expression is through constructing complex and oftentimes chaotic environments combined with mixed media in the form of sculpture and assembled materials. through this I imbue my own subjectivity into both the process and the finished product.

Art as cultural throughline
Traditional art and music is our cultural throughline. a way to carry heritage forward without turning it into something fixed or decorative. Through miss teen, I organize the annual "miss teen chunhyang culture and arts festival" to turn cultural pride into something lived and shared, not just performed. The goal isn’t hype. it’s a community that can sustain itself.

empowering through collaboration
self-empowerment is learning to trust your own perception before you ask the world to validate it. community empowerment is to make the visions we have a reality through collaboration.
